A Stepped Approach to Classification

The world of Para-Sport encompasses a vast range of impairment classes and categories. To ensure the highest level of technical integrity and safety, World Strongman, in agreement with the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), has adopted a phased expansion strategy.

Phase 1: Current Focus

WHEELCHAIR DIVISIONS

Our primary focus is on athletes with lower limb impairments (Wheelchair classes 6-1 to 6-4). This allows for perfected stability protocols and specialized equipment testing.

Phase 2: Expansion

STANDING & VISUAL

Step-by-step integration of standing categories, upper limb impairment classes, and visual impairment divisions as technical standards are finalized.

* This phased implementation ensures that every athlete competes under a fully validated medical and technical framework.

The Para-Strongman World Championship operates under strict medical oversight and WADA integrity protocols.
