WORLD STRONGMAN

The WORLD STRONGMAN offers training and certification for international judges along a pathway ranging from Level 1 to Level 4. To be eligible for any sanctioned event, you must hold at least a National Referee Level 1 designation.
Entry level of the International Referee’s Pathway. Includes written test and in-person evaluation.
Specialized training for individual, team, youth, and student athletes judging. Head of National events.
First level of International Pathway. Trained to serve as Head Referee for International events.
Highest level. Handle appeals, evaluate other referees, and serve as Head Referee at championships.
Fill an application for new Referee to enter the pathway.
Committee review and feedback on application improvements.
Take and pass the WSM Level 1 Written Test.
Complete in-person evaluation at a National competition.
Receive the official Level 1 certificate.
