The Scandalist World Strongman Corporate Games 2024 in Luzniki were a resounding success, capturing the attention of participants and spectators alike with its new format, previously tested at the World Championship in Dubai. The event featured two Lift & Carry relays, which tested the limits of the competitors, along with a special category for the Fedor Konyukhov Cup in Indoor Rowing (500 meters), a now-traditional part of the tournament.
The tournament included three categories: men under 110 kg, women under 75 kg, and Para-Strongman (wheelchair athletes) — marking the first time in history that this category was featured. This debut of Para-Strongman athletes in the Strongman discipline showcased their high level of preparation and opened new horizons for the development of inclusive sports. The tournament was a significant step toward integrating people with disabilities into professional sports events and providing them with the opportunity to compete on equal terms with other athletes.
