Every individual—whether an athlete, official, event organizer, fan, or casual observer—has the right to expect transparency and fairness.

At WSM, we are deeply committed to maintaining ethical accountability as a cornerstone of our legitimacy as a governing body for the sport of strongman. Fair play and integrity must be safeguarded at all times.

We recognize that there may be barriers that discourage individuals from reporting unethical behavior or violations of WSM’s standards. These barriers may include:

• Uncertainty about who within the organization is responsible for handling and addressing complaints;
• Concerns over whether confidentiality will be maintained;
• Fear of retaliation from those responsible for unethical conduct;

Worries about whether complaints, including those regarding abuse (verbal, mental, physical, or sexual), will be treated with sensitivity and respect.

However, without the active participation of individuals who can provide credible information about potential violations, WSM cannot effectively uphold its ethical responsibilities. We rely on your courage and commitment to help us protect the integrity of our sport.

We encourage you to report any and all violations, regardless of whether they involve individuals in positions of leadership within WSM. It is important to familiarize yourself with WSM’s ethical standards, codes, and commitments and to report any observed violations, including but not limited to:

• Improper financial practices;
• Breaches of the code of ethics;
• Discrimination, harassment, or abuse.

WSM firmly condemns all forms of discrimination, harassment, abuse, and violence. We are particularly committed to protecting vulnerable individuals, including women, young boys, and girls. We guarantee that individuals who report violations in good faith will not face retaliation or harassment from WSM. Building a transparent and accountable community is essential to our continued growth as a sport and as an organization.

All reports will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. If you have evidence of a violation, please provide all relevant details in your report. Our Ethics Committee will conduct a confidential and objective inquiry based on your submission. The identity of individuals reporting violations will remain anonymous and protected throughout the investigation process. If further information is required, we will contact you discreetly.
